There are currently three vacancies in our MICU for registered nurses. These positions are for registered nurses who manage acutely ill patients who may require ventilatory assistance and hemodynamic monitoring, and who continuously monitor patients cardiovascular status, recognize abnormal patterns, and intervene effectively. This includes interpreting data, initiating appropriate actions when problems identified, and monitoring appropriate therapeutic nursing measures, as required. The nurse communicates with all patients, family members, internal and external co-workers and customers in a courteous, tactful, helpful, and understanding manner. The shift is 12 hours, night shift and will require weekend coverage. These positions report to the Nurse Manager of the assigned unit.
