The registered nurse is directly responsible to the designated manager in the assigned area; the registered nurse is responsible and accountable for the delivery of quality nursing care to a culturally diverse Veteran patient population.  The registered nurse possesses the knowledge and skills to effectively apply all aspects of the nursing process with a collaborative, interdisciplinary practice setting, which will then enable effective implementation of health promotion and prevention practices, management of acute and chronic illnesses, and the attainment of optimal levels of functioning and/or support of the dying patient and family/significant others.

Salary: To be determined by a Professional Standards Board, consisting of your peers, based on your education and experience.

Appointment Information: The selected candidate may be placed into a temporary appointment, not to exceed one year and one day, pending completion of the pay setting/ boarding process.
