NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED:  This is an excepted position that requires membership in a compatibility assignment in the National Guard.  Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.

RESTRICTED TO CURRENT MEMBERS OF THE G4-SMM OFFICE

 

If the individual selected is currently on a title 10 tour no action can be taken until he/she is released from tour.

APPLICANTS ABOVE THE MAXIMUM RANK:

Applicants with an enlisted rank that exceeds the maximum advertised rank for the position may be considered.   Applicant must provide a statement with their resume/application which indicates their willingness to accept a reduction in military rank.   If selected, reduction in military rank is required to prevent grade inversion.   Air/Army Officers and Army Warrant Officers may be allowed to reduce their Officer/Warrant Officer rank to Enlisted only.   Military recruiters can provide Air/Army Officers and Army Warrant Officers with specifics applicable to the applicant.

 

MILITARY POSITION:  

 

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP STATUS:  Employment in this position requires concurrent military assignment to a compatible military position in the New Jersey National Guard in one of the following military specialty codes:

CMF: 91, 94    MOS: 882A, 920A,  920B

 

NOTE:  THE INDIVIDUAL SELECTED HAS ONE YEAR TO OBTAIN ADVERTISED AFSC/MOS

 

LEVEL OF CLEARANCE/INVESTIGATION:  MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE.

 

SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTORS: N/A

 

PRE-PLACEMENT PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Requires a physical profile:  3, 3, 3, 2, 3, 1

A pre-placement physical will be required for anyone selected for this position.  Placement into the position will not be made until results are receiv

Must be willing to become a member of the New Jersey Army National Guard.

Must provide a copy of current valid driver's license.

Must provide Record Review Report (RIP) or Personnel Qualifications Report.

Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
