JOB SUMMARY:

Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission.  They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations.  The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position: This is a developmental position leading to a full performance level Education Services Specialist, GS-1740-11. The employee will receive formal and/or informal training to prepare them for the higher level duties. The selectee may be non-competitively promoted to the target grade of GS-11 upon completion of all qualification/eligibility/training requirements and at management's request. Management may fill at any level to correspond with the selectee's level of experience.
