About the Position: You will function as the primary Labor/Management Employee Relations (L/MER) Specialist. You will work under the general supervision of the Buffalo District Civilian Personnel Advisory Center Supervisor. As the L/MER specialist for the Buffalo District Corps of Engineers, you will provide advisory services to management concerning solutions to a variety of controversial or unique performance management and labor related issues.
Permanent Change of Station (PCS) allowances may be authorized, subject to the provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations and an agency determination that a PCS move is in the Government interest.
Department of Defense National Recruitment Program (DNRP) is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government interest.
Temporary duty location will be Louisville, KY for approximately 1-2 years untill all training requirements have been met. The Permanent duty location of this position will be in Buffalo, NY and Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs may be authorized at that time.
