Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:

The work involves standing and bending in the assessment, examination and treatment of patients. Occasionally some lifting will be required as assistance is given to other personnel in maneuvering patients into positions for examination, treatment and testing.

Work is performed in a clinical setting where exposure to infectious and contagious diseases is common. Appropriate precautions must be taken to prevent the spread of disease to self and other patients.

Employee will be required to wear and use personal protective equipment as required and provided by the employer.

Work is subject to rotating shifts and/or irregular tour of duty to include weekends, nights, and/or holidays. 

Some positions may be designated as key inclement weather essential.

Must maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Duty location: You will be working at the Womack Army Medical Center in Clinical Services, Department of Family Medicine, Joel Health Clinic at Fort Bragg, NC.
