The purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients at the Northern Plains Region Aberdeen Areas.

Positions will be filled at the following locations as vacancies occur.  There MAY NOT be immediate vacancies at this location.  Interested applicants should check with the local Service Unit Director concerning immediate employment need. Positions may also be filled at this location as vacancies occur or are established in this area.

 

ORGANIZATIONAL LOCATION:  Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Indian Health Service (IHS), Northern Plains Region Aberdeen Area, Quentin N. Burdick Memorial Health Care Facility, Dental Department, Belcourt, North Dakota.

POSITION DETAILS: 

 

Salary range: $75,427.00-  $195,000.00  (Annually)

 

Promotion potential:  GS-12

 

Merit Promotion Position: YES

 

Travel Required? YES--Occasional travel is required for this position.

 

Supervisory/Managerial Position: YES--(This May Be A Supervisory Position): You may be required to serve a one year probationary period.

 

Relocation Expenses Paid:   Relocation expenses are authorized and will be paid only if you are a current Federal Employee.  You will be required to sign a one year service agreement.  Failure to fulfill the one year service agreement may result in repayment of relocation expenses.  

 

Is drug testing required? NO

 

Is government housing available? YES (Depending on Availability).

 

Is this a bargaining unit position? YES (depending on position).

 

TOUR OF DUTY (40 Hour work week)?  FULL-TIME / PERMANENT; MAY HAVE:  Alternative work schedule, call back, standby, rotating shifts, nights/weekends/holidays.

 

If applicable, This position requires that you obtain and maintain clinical privileges. If they are not obtained or maintained during employment, the employee may be subject to adverse actions, up to and including removal from the Federal service.
