NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS NOT REQUIRED

This position is for a National Guard Non-Dual status (NDS) technician only. The position meets the criteria of the NDS Management plan as follows: The position resides within the infrastructure and supports functions of the state National Guard; the incumbent is not subject to mobilization nor is the work described part of the military mission and the incumbent does not perform a key advisory or essential administration role that is inherently military. For this reason, veterans' preference is not used for hiring and retention. • Do you have experience applying occupational health and preventive medicine concepts?
• Are you able to make recommendations regarding Worker's Compensation claims?
• Have you administered an occupational health program to achieve compliance with regulatory provisions?

The primary purpose of this position is to manage a comprehensive Occupational Health Program for the state. The incumbent will serve as the Joint Force Headquarters – State (JFHQ-ST) Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) consultant and principle advisor to the Adjutant General (TAG) on occupational health initiatives. Plans, develops, and analyzes the occupational health nursing services provided to National Guard personnel throughout the state.
