The Urology Nurse Practitioner (NP) practices in the Urology Clinic in the Operative Care Division at the Portland VA Medical Center. The Urology NP is an independent member of the Medical Staff, with delineated clinical privileges. The incumbent executes responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of a complex client care.

 

Preferred candidate will possess the following:

1. Previous experience in a Urology Clinic

2. Completed a VA Internship

 

NOTE: Must possess or be willing to obtain a Nurse Practitioner license for the State of Oregon 

 

Applicant's education and experience will be reviewed by a Nursing Professional Standards Board in determining the grade and salary of the applicant selected. The recommended salary may be at any point in the range listed for this vacancy.
