The incumbent of this position serves as a Paralegal Specialist in the Office of Division Counsel (Large Business & International)  The incumbent is responsible for providing service to the Deputy Area Counsel (Strategic Litigation) and Special Trial Attorneys (STA) in large dollar, significant, complex cases with nation-wide and precedent setting impact before the U.S. Tax Court.  Come Join the Department of the Treasury and Invest in Tomorrow.

The Office of Division Counsel Large Business and International (LB&I) provides legal services to the LB&I Division of the IRS. Our taxpayers are corporations, subchapter S corporations, and partnerships with substantial assets. We deal with complicated issues of tax law and accounting principles in the context of an expanding global environment. The Paralegal Specialist is responsible for performing a combination of legal assistance tasks in support of the legal activities of the Large Business & Internationals strategic litigation function.

GS-09: $49,273 - $64,050

GS-11: $59,615 - $77,497

Philadelphia, PA:

GS-09: $50,620 - $65,801

GS-11: $61,245 - $79,615
