Who May Apply: 

Current Army employees with competitive status (includes Army employees serving on a career or career-conditional appointment).

 

Position may be filled by temporary promotion not to exceed one (1) year.

 

Position may be filled by temporary reassignment not to exceed one (1) year.

 

Temporary promotion may be made or extended up to a maximum of five (5) years.

 

Position may be converted to permanent without further competition.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

PCS will not be paid.

Incumbent must obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.

CONUS and OCONUS TDY is required 10 percent of the time.
