The James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center consists of a parent site, located in Altoona, PA and three community based outpatient clinics (CBOCs) located in Johnstown, DuBois, and State College, PA. With approximately 600 employees, the Altoona VAMC is one of the largest employers in the area. The medical center serves Veterans from a 14 county area in Central Pennsylvania, providing exceptional health care in the areas of Acute Care, Behavioral Health, Diagnostic Services, Emergency Care, Long Term Care, Pharmacy, Primary Care, Social Services, Specialty Care, and Women's Health.
