This position is located in the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (WSS) Operations Directorate Industrial Support Department, Repairables Distribution Division. The purpose of this position is to provide an expert and manager for the distribution requirements intrinsic to efficient and effective operation of the WSS Global Integrated Supply Chain, to include logistics functions (including transportation and packaging) delegated from Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) to WSS. You will be responsible for developing traffic management, transportation, and distribution policy recommendations and procedures, planning and implementing distribution programs, evaluating programs to assess their adequacy. You will also be providing technical advice and guidance, and conducting or participating in special studies.
