One full time Physician (General/Vascular Surgeon) position is currently available in the Surgical Service.  Physicians assigned to the Surgery Service are responsible to the Chief Surgery Service.  Salary/Grade is determined by the Professional Standards Board based on education, qualifications, experience, and credentials.  This announcement is open to all qualified U. S. citizens.  More than one applicant may be hired from this announcement.  First consideration will be given to permanent VAMC Hampton employees.

The preferred candidate will: be Board Certified in General/Vascular Surgery; have completed a Vascular Surgery Fellowship; have experience in all aspects of dialysis access; will perform peripheral vascular and endovascular and intraoperative vascular imaging procedures.
