Full-time Primary Care Physicians are being sought at the Hampton VA Medical Center and the Albemarle Primary Outpatient Clinic (APOC), Elizabeth City, NC.  Tour of duty is 8am-4:30pm; incumbent may be required to work off tour hours, weekends and overnight. This announcement is open to qualified U. S. Citizens. 

 

Note:  Recruitment bonus and/or Relocation incentive may be authorized.  Selected applicants may qualify for credit toward annual leave accrual, based on prior non-Federal or military service experience. 

 

Please Note: Duty station will be Elizabeth City, NC but each applicant will be expected to complete a period of orientation not to exceed 6 months at the Hampton VA Medical Center.  Travel reimbursement only applies for mileage traveled over the estimated normal commute from residence to duty station (50 miles)
