Southwestern Power Admininstration (Southwestern), a sub-agency of the Department of Energy, delivers the most reliable and clean wholesale hydroelectric power benefiting 9 million users, across a six-state region, at the lowest possible cost. 

This position has primary responsibility for Southwestern's training program for the Power System Dispatchers and directly supports the agency's North American Reliabilty Corporation (NERC) and regional entity compliance matters.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Must currently be a NERC Certified System Operator

Acquire and maintain certification as a NERC Continuing Ed provider.

Obtain certification in the NERC Reliability Operator category.

Applicants given up to 1 year to obtain the RA/RC NERC certification.

Subject to random drug testing.
