JOB SUMMARY:

Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission.  They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations.  The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:
Incumbent works under general supervision of the Chief, Family Care Branch. Works independently as a Primary Care Manager for a designated population of patients and works IAW methods and practices of the medical profession and locally established policies. Work is not reviewed except as required by the Quality Improvement Program.

RECRUITMENT, RELOCATION AND/OR RETENTION INCENTIVES MAY BE AUTHORIZED.

MUST MAINTAIN BOARD CERTIFICATION IN FAMILY MEDICINE, MEETING HOSPITAL AND BOARD REQUIREMENTS FOR ANNUAL CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION.

Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I USOGE, 6/08). Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation, dated 23 March 2006.
