About the Position:
ARNORTH is the Army service component to U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) (a unified combatant command) and a direct reporting unit to HQDA. The ARNORTH mission is to provide command, control, and support for Army and land operations to deter, prevent, and defeat threats and aggression against the United States, its territories, and interests, and to provide Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA). ARNORTH exercises operational control over assigned component forces deployed into its area of responsibility (AOR) to accomplish assigned missions. The AOR encompasses the United States and its four territories, Canada, and Mexico (includes Gulf of Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands).
