Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

The work requires walking, standing, bending, stooping, and reaching while performing physical examinations and treatment to patients. Heavy lifting may be required when providing emergency treatment.

Work is performed in a clinic setting where exposure to infectious disease is common and may work with emotionally disturbed patients.

Duty location: You will be working in the Department of Primary Care for Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, TX.
