Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission.  They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations.  The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:

Dugway Proving Ground (DPG) consists of professionals supporting chemical and biological defense testing and training, unmanned aircraft systems testing,   and counterterrorism and consequence management for the civilian sector.   The majority of the workforce works 40 hours from Monday thru Thursday, enjoying a regular 3-day weekend.   DPG is physically remote, but entirely self-sufficient regarding housing, schools (K-12), and community needs.   Our web address is http://www.dugway.army.mil/ ; be sure to click on the "Visiting Dugway" tab for a great aerial view of the Stansbury Mountains & English Village, DPG's housing, community, & recreational oasis.   Subsidized commuter vans transport government employees who choose to live off post.   DPG is a short drive from Tooele (45 mi), Salt Lake City (85 mi) & Olympic venues (115 mi).   Within a day's drive are Utah's five national parks.   Contact the Relocation Program Manager at DPG.ACS.Relocation@conus.army.mil or 435-831-2321; DSN 789.
