About the Position:
This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the National Ground Intelligence Center, Analysis Directorate, Central/South Asia Division, Afghanistan Branch, Charlottesville, VA.
Serves as a General Military Intelligence (GMI) Analyst and expert for foreign military ground force functions (movement and maneuver; fires; sustainment; command and control; intelligence; protection), conducting threat analysis and projections of land-warfare forces and operations in Afghanistan/Pakistan.
