About the Position:
This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located in the Integration Office of the Mission Integration Office at the National Ground Intelligence Center in Charlottesville, Virginia.

The National Ground Intelligence Center is located north of historical Charlottesville, VA about two hours from Washington, DC. In 2004 Frommers named it the "Best Place to Live in America" and Readers Digest rated Charlottesville one of the "Top Places in the County to Raise a Family." The NGIC facility was first occupied in June 2001. It includes a modern state-of-the-art building with cafeteria and workout facility.
Serves as an Intelligence Specialist performing analytical collaboration procedures, and utilizing skills in integration strategies, collaborative tool promotion, intelligence program, reasearch and project development, evaluation, management and support.
This is a developmental position. The target level for this assignment is GS-13. The incumbent performs developmental assignments under closer than normal supervision.
