One full time General Surgeon position is currently available in the Surgical Service. The most desirable candidates will be board certified in General Surgery, and have advanced laparoscopic experience and at a minimum (in addition to Lap Cholecystectomy and Lap Appendectomies) routinely perform Laparoscopic Ventral Hernia repairs and Laparoscopic Colectomies. Candidate will be proficient in Endoscopy and able to perform at a minimum of 200 colonoscopies and 30 EGD’s a year.  Candidate will participate equally with other full time providers in the on call schedule.  Candidates with Minimally Invasive sub-specialty training and experience will be given priority.  Salary/Grade is determined by the Professional Standards Board based on education, qualifications, experience, and credentials.  This announcement is open to all qualified U.
