JOB SUMMARY:

Bureau of Safety & Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) works to promote safety, protect the environment, and conserve resources offshore through vigorous regulatory oversight and enforcement.

The Oil Spill Response Division (OSRD) administers a highly specialized program that provides expert advice on offshore oil spill prevention, planning, preparedness, intervention, containment, response, and research to senior agency staff, Federal and state agencies, offshore operators, and the response community.

This position is located in Herndon, Virginia, and reports to the OSRD Chief.  The incumbent’s primary responsibility is to assist the Division Chief and staff in office administrative matters and management, including fiscal support services essential for the operation of the division, division automation, budget and financial management support, procurement, training, travel services and reports, personnel management functions, property management, correspondence procedures/requirements, etc., and the solution of related problems.

This is a Permanent, Full Time position.
