This notice is issued under the direct-hire authority to recruit new talent to occupations for which Department of the Navy has a severe shortage of candidates or a critical hiring need.  As such, this notice is targeted to qualified United States Citizens.

***This position includes the performance of critical operations that may not be interrupted due to their National significance and importance to ongoing combat operations or supporting command and control operations. Incumbent may be required to perform rotating shift work that could include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.***

This position serves as Computer Network Defense (CND) level I analyst in the Threat Analysis and Network Forensics (TA&NF) department located in the Operations Directorate at Naval Cyber Defense Operations Command (NCDOC), Virginia Beach, VA.  The NGEN CND level I analyst serves as a Computer Network Defense analyst in support of Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command’s network/media forensics and sensor operations mission.
