Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:

Recruitment/relocation incentive may be authorized.

The work requires standing, sitting, bending and fine motor skills during examination.  The work in surgery requires a high degree of manual dexterity and muscle strength to hold position for extended lengths of time and to operate specialized equipment in the operating room.  The work requires lifting and positioning patients on the operating room table.

The work will be performed indoors in a well-lighted, heated and ventilated area.  Appropriate precautions are necessary to prevent radiation exposure when using fluoroscopy in surgery.  There is moderate risk of exposure to contagious diseases and infections that require routine precautions.
