Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:

COMPETITIVE RECRUITMENT AND RELOCATION INCENTIVES WILL BE PAID (UP TO 25% OF YOUR SALARY).

 

MOVING EXPENSES MAY BE PAID.

Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment.

Physician is required to be Board Certified in Pediatrics but at a minimum board eligible in the subspecialty of Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. Subsequent to obtaining board certification in general pediatrics and being Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship trained, a candidate must have had at least one year of experience providing direct service in a clinical setting.

This position is an inclement weather essential position.
