This is a TERM appointment (not-to-exceed 1 Year & 1 Day) that may be extended up to 4 years. Term appointments are nonstatus, nonpermanent appointments of limited duration. Term employees are eligible to earn leave and generally have the same benefits as permanent employees including health and life insurance, within-grade increases and Federal Employees Retirement System and Thrift Savings Plan coverage.  Term appointments may be extended without further competition.

 

 

Open Continuous Announcement: This is an open continuous announcement which will establish an inventory of applicants interested in a position of Food Service Worker within the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System. This applicant inventory will be used to fill Part Time, WG-2 positions as they occur in  the Nutrition and Food Section of the Clinical Care Support Line.  Only complete applications on file as of the date the folder is reviewed for referral will receive consideration.  Applications received at later date will be considered for subsequent vacancies. FIRST CUT-OFF DATE is 02/01/12.
