KANSAS NATIONAL GUARD
NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted position that requires membership in a compatible military skill in the Kansas National Guard and wear of the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. Applicants who are not currently enlisted in the Kansas National Guard must be eligible for immediate enlistment or appointment. POSITION LOCATION: FMS #3 at Wichita, Kansas
AREA OF CONSIDERATION: This position is in the excepted federal civil service "under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709," and is open to the following category or categories: 4
Category 1: All PERMANENT military technicians in the Kansas National Guard.
Category 2: All current military members of the Kansas National Guard or PERMANENT technicians of the National Guard.
Category 3: All individuals who qualify for membership in the Kansas National Guard.
Category 4: Area of consideration as defined by the selecting supervisor and identified above under "Who May Be Considered"
AGRs:
- Army AGR personnel not eligible to apply as AGR
PERMANENT CHANGE OF STATION (PCS): PCS is not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the government's best interest.
