WHO MAY BE CONSIDERED: Government-wide career or career-conditional employees; Transfer and Reinstatement Candidates, 30% or More Compensable Disabled Veterans, Veterans Recruitment Act (VRA) Eligibles, Qualified Handicapped Individuals, Veterans who are Preference Eligibles or who have been separated from the Armed Forces under honorable conditions after three years or more of continuous active service (VEOA) and returned volunteers from the Peace Corps or Vista, etc.  You must submit proof of this eligibility with your application.

This announcement is being advertised under merit promotion procedures, the candidates listed under "Who May Be Considered" above may apply.  The vacancy is concurrently advertised under delegated examining procedures under announcement number IMDE-12-293. If you do not meet the conditions as shown above under Who May Be Considered, you may apply under delegated examining procedures.  Candidates who wish to be considered under both procedures MUST apply and submit complete application packages to both vacancies.

This is permanent, career-seasonal, full time position. As a career-seasonal, this position does not provide employment on a year-round basis. You may work a minimum of 26 weeks but generally not more than 48 weeks a year. Actual work schedule and period of furlough is contingent upon funding and operational needs.

Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.

Incumbent will be required to wear a National Park Service uniform.

Must have Stae Water Distribution Grade 1 Certifcate or equivalent.
