One full-time Medical Record Administrator, GS-0669-11 position is currently available in the Health Administration Service (HAS).  This position serves as the Health Information Management Section Supervisor and Records Control Officer and is under the supervision of the Chief, HIMS.  The tour of duty is Monday through Friday between the core hours 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Current registration as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) is highly desired but not required.  This announcement is open to all qualified U.S. citizens.  More than one applicant may be hired from this announcement.  First consideration will be given to current permanent VAMC Hampton employees.
