This position will be located at the Medical Center's Joint Ambulatory Care Center (JACC) outpatient clinic located in Pensacola, FL. The setting for the VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System spans south Mississippi, south Alabama and the Florida

panhandle The position is ideal for those who those enjoy working on integrative, multidisciplinary teams, utilizing evidence based therapies within a recovery oriented approach The position will encompass a significant amount of integrative treatment, and the position requires a person who is well versed in a variety of evidence-based therapies or one who is seeking further experience with these approaches. Funding is available for learning new therapies and attending conferences. This opening provides the incumbent psychologist with discretion in building their own caseloads and clinics, and training psychology interns.

The optimal candidate will have a broad variety of assessment and therapy skills, including training in Evidenced Based Therapies. The candidate will provide general mental health services to eligible Veterans who may have a variety of problems, illnesses, or rehabilitative care needs and focuses on the Veteran's needs, abilities, strengths, and preferences. The optimal candidate will provide a variety of time limited groups and may provide evening appointments. Eligible recent post-docs and other new graduates are encouraged to apply.
