PRIMARY PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to serve as a software engineering technical specialist/advisor with the technical mastery for embedded software. The incumbent is a technical lead/expert for the organization in the application of advanced software theories, concepts and engineering principles to resolve unique and/or controversial software engineering problems involving embedded software for aircraft weapon and support systems. The technical lead uses innovative software techniques as well as pioneers the manipulation of new/advanced software architectures to create maintainable software and to resolve technical software issues for embedded aircraft weapon system and support system software. The technical specialist for embedded aircraft weapon system and support system software works with DoD, other government agencies and contractors, as wall as consulting with in-house software projects to determine actions for technical software issues.

The "Statement of Service" must be signed by, or by direction of, the adjutant, personnel officer, or commander of your unit or higher headquarters and must indicate when your terminal leave will begin, your rank, dates of active duty service, the Type of Discharge and Character of Service (i.e. honorable).
