About the Position:
This position is located at Tripler Army Medical Center, Forensic Toxicology Drug Testing Laboratory (FTDTL), Extraction Section. This is a developmental position with assignments/training directed toward providing incumbent the capability to perform the full scope of GS-0645-07. Performs duties at the entrance level GS-0645-05 with assignments planned to develop the incumbent for progression to an intermediate GS-0645-06. Duties described reflect the full performance GS-0645-07. Duties will be performed in a developmental capacity under close supervision. Management may select at any of the grade levels announced. This recruitment provides promotion opportunity to the target grade of the position without further competition when selectee is eligible and recommended by management.
Federal employees in Hawaii are currently entitled to receive a 12.25% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary. COLA is subject to change without notice.
This position may require shift work and/or rotating shifts to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, and in other situations.
