The Office of Information Technology, Division of Information Technology, RPMS Program which provides Chief Information Officer (CIO) services and advises the Director, Indian Health Service (IHS), on all aspects of information resource management and technology;   Provides Chief Technology Officer IT services and advises the CIO on all aspects of IT. The Medical Technologist Consultant executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to promote and implement state-of-the-art solutions through collaborative approaches that provide a unified methodology and approach to implementing the Resource Patient Management System (RPMS) Clinical and Administrative Laboratory Systems and the Electronic Health Record (EHR) within the Indian Healthcare System on a national basis.

These positions support the IHS mission and report to Supervisory IT Specialist (RPMS Project Management Officer), Division of Information Technology, OIT.   These positions are staffed within the Division of Information Technology (GAGA) in the Office of Information Technology at duty stations located in Bemidji, MN, Rapid City, SD, and Warm Springs, OR.
