This  position is open to current permanent Detroit/Dingell VAMC employees, current permanent Detroit/Dingell VCS (Canteen)  employees &  current, permanent VA (agency) employees.

 The John D. Dingell, VA Medical Center is currently recruiting for 1 Full Time Social Worker (at the GS-9 level) for the Mental Health Service to work in the General Mental Health Clinic.   

(NOTE: Recruitment will be at both the GS-9 and GS-11 grades/levels)

The tour of duty is Monday - Friday from 8am - 430pm (& working one Saturday per month from 8am -430pm,) When working the one Saturday per month, the incumbents' work schedule will be Tuesday - Saturday from 8am - 430pm

Must pass pre-employment examination

English Language Proficiency required
