The Defense Contract Management Agency is a rich resource of indispensable partners who contribute to and benefit from integrated missions and programs. We are an independent combat support agency within the Department of Defense (DoD). We are the Department's contract manager, responsible for ensuring Federal acquisition programs, supplies, and services are delivered on time, within cost and meet performance requirements.

About the Position:

The scope of the work is to perform contract administration and surveillance functions, review procurement documents, maintain an accurate database, and process contractual actions. The work products affect the timeliness and quality of the contractor and Government obligations on the contract, including delivery and payments.

The purpose of the automation work is to perform a variety of tasks required to access and/or maintain spreadsheets and databases, and to produce various output products. The work effects the accuracy and effectiveness of the multifunctional team assigned as well as DFAS.

Work Environment: The employee's work is performed in an office or occasionally in a classroom environment. Occasional on-site plant visits are required for post award conferences and clarifying reporting requirements to contractor. Normal safety precautions are required at all locations.
