The Medical Support Assistant positions are located in the Specialty Care Service Line Clinics at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System, part of the Veterans Service Integrated Network, VISN 23, in Minneapolis, MN.
The full performance level of this vacancy is GS-05. This position is currently transitioning to the excepted service and will be boarded by The Professional Standards Board (a peer-review group), who will review the selected candidate's qualifications and recommend the grade and step at which the candidate will be placed. During this transition, the actual grade at which an applicant may be selected for this vacancy is GS-05.
