This position is located at Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Biloxi, Mississippi. This setting for the VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System spans south Mississippi, south Alabama and the Florida panhandle. The position is ideal for those who those enjoy working on integrative, multidisciplinary teams, utilizing evidence based therapies within a recovery oriented approach. The position will encompass a significant amount of integrative treatment, and the position requires a person who is well versed in a variety of evidence-based therapies or one who is seeking further experience with these approaches. Funding is available for learning new therapies and attending conferences.
This opening provides the incumbent psychologist with discretion in building their own caseloads and clinics, participating in psychology Master's, pre- doctoral, post-doctoral training programs, and research. Psychologists are full members of the medical staff.

The optimal candidate will have a broad variety of assessment and therapy skills, including training in Evidenced Based Therapies. The incumbent will function as a key member of the multidisciplinary pain management team and provide individual and group psychotherapy for Veterans with chronic pain. In addition, the candidate may carry a general mental health workload as needed and provided treatment services through the use of Tele-Video equipment to our remote outpatient clinics and other VA authorized treatment facilities.
