Area of Consideration: Current permanent employees of the Canandaigua VA Medical Center including permanent Veterans Canteen Service Staff (after 90-days), current Federal employees serving under a career or career conditional appointment applying for transfer/reassignment to the same (full performance level of GS-11) or lesser grade, former Federal employees with reinstatement eligibility, veterans who are preference eligibles or who have been separated from the armed forces under honorable conditions after 3 or more years of continuous active service or persons eligible for non-competitive appointment under Special Authorities, such as, but not limited to, appointment authorities for disabled veterans, veterans recruitment authority (VRA) eligibles, severely disabled individuals or those eligible under the VA/OPM Interchange Agreement.    The area of consideration has been expanded to ensure an adequate pool of candidates.
