This position is located in the POPS (Portland Outpatient Procedures and Surgeries) unit under the Division of Hospital and Specialty Medicine at the Portland VA Medical Center.  Primary Purpose: The incumbent of this position works directly with POPS unit staff, and Providers and to deliver direct patient care.. The Health Technician is responsible for the administrative and clinical functions of patient care in order to assure timely preparation and evaluation for patients’ pre and post procedure or surgery.
