This position is located in the Project Material Branch (226), Process Controls Division (220), and Office of the Chief Engineer (240) in the Engineering and Planning Department (200), Norfolk Naval Shipyard. The Branch is responsible for identifying and resolving deficiencies in the material planning, ordering and delivery process, and developing and implementing corrective policies and procedures for the efficient execution of the material management process through the project management concept.
This is a temporary promotion not to exceed one year. Position may be made permanent without further competitive procedures.
