This position is located in the Test Equipment Engineering and Life Cycle Support Facility Branch, Code 8111, Torpedo System Department, Code 81. This Branch is responsible for the management and direction of the Lightweight and Heavyweight Torpedo programs Support and Test Equipment (S&TE) from the developmental and production phase through the operational maintenance phase. The selectee will serve as the Lightweight Torpedo (LWT) Test Equipment System Engineer and is responsible for the proper application and implementation of DoD and NUWC Division Newport Code 81 System Engineering Processes in the acquisition and sustainment of LWT Test Equipment. This position is considered to be the authority on Lightweight Torpedo (LWT) automated test system design.
