Come Check out the City of Little Rock!!
Little Rock is the capital and the largest city of the State of Arkansas. Great food and sports activities like Razorback football. From the fun and exciting River Market, a perfect place to go for a morning breakfast, you will find in May through October a great Farmer' Market with lots of local fresh fruits and vegetables. There are also specialty shops and amazing restaurants open throughout the day. Arkansas has two capitol buildings, an Old Statehouse (now a museum) and the newer Capitol Building that looks very similar to the Capitol in Washington DC. You can take tours of both of these or just admire the architecture. Also home to Americas 12th Presidential Library, the William J. Clinton contains an authentic replica of the Oval Office and the Cabinet Room located on the banks for the Arkansas River. The Little Rock Zoo covers about 33 acres. It is the home to more than 725 animals representing over 200 species. It is a great place for kids with nice exhibits including grizzly bears, penguins, cats, and apes. The Old Mill located in North Little Rock is a replica of an old-water-powered grist mill and was featured in "Gone With the Wind." It's a beautiful place which feels like you're stepping back in time.
