This is a permanent position located in the Pacific West Regional Office in San Francisco, CA.

Area information: The Pacific West Region includes National Park Service areas with fire management programs in the states of California, Nevada, Hawaii, Oregon, Washington and Idaho. The Regional office has staff in Honolulu, Seattle and San Francisco, as well as in parks throughout the Region.

This position has been identified as one of the key fire management positions under the Interagency Fire Program Management (IFPM) Standard. This position has been categorized as a Geographic Fire Program Manager, and requires selectee to meet the minimum qualification standards for IFPM prior to being placed into the position.
