The purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients at the Northern Plains Region Aberdeen Areas.

 

NOTE:  Positions will be filled at the following locations as vacancies occur.  There MAY NOT be immediate vacancies at all locations.  Interested applicants should check with the local Administrative Officer or Service Unit Director concerning immediate employment need.

ORGANIZATIONAL LOCATION:

Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Indian Health Service (IHS), Northern Plains Region, PHS Indian Hospital, Pine Ridge Hospital, Kyle and Wanblee Health Centers, Medical Staff Department.

POSITION DETAILS:

Salary range: $96,539.00- $240,000.00 ( Annually)

Promotion potential: GS-15

Merit Promotion Position: YES

Travel Required: YES--occasional travel may be required.

Supervisory/Managerial Position: Yes--You may be required to serve a one year probationary period.

Relocation Expenses Paid:Paid, expenses will be paid in the interest of the government and not in the interest of the selected employee. 

Is drug testing required? NO

Is government housing available? YES (depending on availability)

Is this a bargaining unit position? YES (depending on position).

TOUR OF DUTY (40 Hour work week)?  FULL-TIME / PERMANENT; MAY HAVE:  Alternative work schedule, call back, standby, rotating shifts, nights/weekends/holidays.

 

If applicable, This position requires that you obtain and maintain clinical privileges. If they are not obtained or maintained during employment, the employee may be subject to adverse actions, up to and including removal from the Federal service.
