This Human Resources Officer position manages the Total Force Strategy and Management Department (TFSMD) of the Naval Air Systems Command in the Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) located in Cherry Point, NC. The TFSMD provides the full range of civilian personnel and EEO management advisory services to the FRC, and, as assigned, to other Navy, Army, and DoD commands.
The incumbent of this position provides policy, guidance, and functional/analytical expertise to support the NAVAIR and the FRC in acquiring, developing and retaining a skilled and flexible military and civilian workforce. The Human Resources Officer is also the Director of the TFSMD in the Corporate Operations Group and is responsible for the management, direction and administration of a comprehensive, dynamic, progressive and effective Total Force Management (TFM) program for the FRC.
