The incumbent will serve as a Criminal Investigator on assigned Indian reservation(s) and trust lands and will perform the full range of in-depth investigative duties requiring a comprehensive knowledge of law enforcement and skills involving a high degree of independent judgment, immediate decisions, and a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness.
The individual selected for this position will be working for the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Office of Justice Services, Internal Affairs Division, Bismarck, ND.
Salary Information: GS-9: $49,029 - $63,259 per annum; GS-11: $57,408 - $74,628 per annum; GS-12: $68,809 - $89,450 per annum. First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the lower salary range of the grade level. Law Enforcement Availability Pay in the amount of 25% has been approved for this position.
The position has a full performance level of GS-12.
