THIS JOB ANNOUNCEMENT IS BEING ADVERTISED USING MERIT PROMOTION PROCEDURES. YOU ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY IF YOU MEET ANY OF THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

·         Current Federal employees with career or career-conditional appointments in the competitive service.

·         Former Federal employees with reinstatement eligibility based on previous career or career-conditional appointments in the competitive service.

·         Displaced Federal employees requesting special priority selection consideration under the Career

·         Transition Assistance Plan (CTAP) or the Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP).

·         VEOA eligible, that is, veterans who are preference eligibles or who have been separated under honorable conditions after 3 or more years of continuous active service.

·         Individuals eligible under special hiring authorities (e.g., Veterans Recruitment Appointment, Disability, Peace Corps, or Interchange Agreements)

You must submit your SF-50, DD-214, SF-15 or proof of eligibility for special hiring authorities in order to be considered under merit promotion procedures.

Travel, transportation, and relocation expenses will be paid if the person selected for the position is from outside the local commuting area and is otherwise eligible for reimbursement of relocation expenses under the Federal Travel Regulations.
