Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission.  They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations.  The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:
Serves as an armed security guard for Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center (CRDAMC), patrolling the interior, roof tops, parking lots, detached hospital structures and the surrounding grounds around the facility, maintaining continued surveillance over areas within the facility, investigating abnormal conditions and incidents possibly detrimental to hospital property, patients and staff.

Competition for Security Guard positions is restricted by law to persons entitled to veterans' preference as long as such applicants are available for appointment.
